You’re Not Supposed to Hear This is an original web series from Gem City Comedy hosted by Dayton comedian Jeff Allen.
Each episode puts a comedian on the spot by hitting shuffle on their music and making them talk through whatever comes up. The songs might be meaningful, embarrassing, nostalgic, chaotic, or completely impossible to defend, but the rules stay the same: five songs, no skips, no hiding.
Filmed at Feathers Vintage Clothing in the Oregon District, the series gives audiences a funny and surprisingly personal look at comedians through the music they actually listen to.
